Why is YIMT organic baby food the best choice for my Little Tummy?
It’s an inarguable fact that avoiding as many toxins in your children’s food and environment is optimal for good growth and health. While there are a few brands of organic baby food currently on the market, they are either frozen or jarred—both far from fresh. YIMT is completely different, offering baby and toddler food that uses only the most pristine organic ingredients, then baking, simmering, roasting, and cooking each unique blend to a hearty goodness. Our foods will give your Little Tummy the best, most delicious nutrition available with every mouthful!
Why did you guys start YIMT?
When our Little Tummy, Sophia, first started to delve into the Wonderful World of Solids, we were disappointed in the flavor, consistency, and variety of organic baby foods available to us. When we tried the purees, as many parents do, to see why our Little Tummy was making faces and instituting a Baby Food Boycot, we realized that the carrots didn’t taste like carrots, the bananas didn’t taste like bananas and as the blends got more complex, the worse the flavor got! It was out of frustration and a desire to bring something better to the marketplace that we founded YIMT. We were determined to make sure that if we were giving Sophia a blueberry banana blend, that it would actually taste like the fruits it claimed to contain! As the great Willy Wonka (1971) once said, “The strawberries taste like strawberries. The snozzberries taste like snozzberries.” What could be better?
What is the Yummy In My Tummy Safety-Ensured System?
Since safety and taste are our primary concerns, everything we do in the process of making and packaging our food is done with precision and properly documented to show that we are adhering to our lengthy in-depth HACCP Plan. Furthermore, samples of our product are routinely and randomly tested by a third party food laboratory to make sure the product is safe for your Little Tummy. “Batch numbers” and “Use By” dates are found on each and every Yummy In My Tummy product so that we can assure you and your Little Tummy that the food you are about to consume can be traced back to where and when the product was made, along with what USDA certified organic farms the food came from.
What is the difference between the 3 stages and your Fun Finger Foods?
We divide our yummy foods into three stages for your Little Tummy. For those just starting to delve into solids, we have Simple and Smooth Stage One foods. When your Little Tummy is ready for something a little more complex, both in taste and consistency, it’s time to introduce Textured and Tasty Stage Two. Finally, when it is time to move to mini-meals and more substantial fare, welcome to Scrumptious and Savory Stage Three!??In addition to these three stages, we offer a variety of fresh baked Fun and Fabulous Finger Foods that are perfect for those Little Tummies ready for table food. These finger foods are nutrient dense with added benefits—hidden fruits and veggies—to make the most out of each and every bite. Bon Appetit!
What is seasonal eating?
Unlike other traditional baby food companies, YIMT offers a weekly menu that capitalizes on both traditional favorites and seasonal specials that will teach your Little Tummy about sustainable eating. It is important to us to give you only the best products with the juiciest, tastiest, most ripe produce available. To do so, we offer only those products that are in season so you’re guaranteed a dish that not only tastes good, but doesn’t use ingredients that needed a passport to get to our kitchen! You and your Little Tummy will get to enjoy apricots in August and squash in September. We’ll be offering the best of what’s in season while it’s in season!
What if my Little Tummy is a picky eater?
To try and prevent wasting food—or money— try out our Sampling Space in our Davie store. We have highchairs and a nice seating area where you can sample several foods to see what items are home runs with your little ones! If you end up with something your Little Tummy does not like at home, we have Yummy Adult Recipes available on our website so you can enjoy them on your own!
Can I get YIMT delivered to my door?
Yes! Just call us at 954-358-2414. We will deliver, from our door to yours, if you are located in the Miami-Dade, Broward, or Palm Beach areas! For those out of the tri-county area, just call us to discuss delivery options!
Do you accept suggestions for Baby food recipes?
Yes! YIMT invites you to give us suggestions for items you think would be good. We’re a business that views our Little and Big Tummies as members of our YIMT community and we welcome your thoughts!
