Since first creating Yummy In My Tummy, it has been important to us to incorporate “giving back” to our local community into our business model.Shortly after opening our doors, we began looking to our local community and the great non-profit organizations within it to find somewhere we would be able to donate food to on a regular basis. We were so happy when we came across Women In Distress!

Women In Distress of Broward County Inc.’s mission is to provide victims of domestic violence with safe shelter, crisis intervention and resources, andto educate the community in order to Stop Abuse For Everyone (SAFE) through Intervention, Education and Advocacy.. Services include counseling,emergency shelter, respite care, advocacy/case management, 24-hour crisis line, referrals to emergency assistance, legal aid and other communityresources, community and professional trainings, volunteer programs and a thrift store.
